My name is Captain Travis Huckeba. I was born and raised in the Panhandle of Florida, home of the Forgotten Coast. I fish some of the best waters in the world for Tarpon and Red fish. I have guided the Gulf Coast waters since 2001 from the panhandle of Florida to the Biloxi marsh of Louisiana, specializing in fly fishing and light tackle for Tarpon and Red fish.
While guiding I also worked as a Commissioned Officer for Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation for 11 years. I was elected Coastal Conservation Association Officer of the year twice in my career. When I was not guiding I was protecting this great resource and might of had my eye on the tides and fish while on patrol. So as you can see I have lived, worked and played on these waters. |
