The weather and fishing was awesome this week in southeast Louisiana . We had low water clear sky's and Big Red's were working throughout the marsh. There were large schools of red's working on top eating popper's. We also were able to fish big red's in the creek mouth's.If you haven't got your fishing fix yet this year , then you need to book your trip to Louisiana ASAP!!!

The Red fishing on Fly in the marshes of Louisiana this first week of November has been really good with lot's off big fish being caught inside the Marshes . We have a cold front coming through which should bring the water temps down and the fishing should get even better. Hope you can get down to fish Louisiana to catch some big Red Fish!!

In September the Fishing In Venice and Hopedale Louisiana started out really good, we had schools of fish working the outside areas of the marsh. The second week in September the fish went out to spawn and the fishing got slower, but we were still able to work nice slot fish with some shots at big fish. The weather has been really hot this Sept and Oct. Therefore the water throughout the marsh has been dirty related to early flood's and wind's. Resulting in the big fish not pushing in like normal... but this past week (Oct 16-22)  big schools started pushing in and we have been catching a lot of nice Bull Red's and Jacks. 

Had a great week of tarpon fishing .We were able to sling some string at a bunch of fish and had some good bites and as we all know some refusal's . Its that time of year in North Florida when you have to run and gun from storms but you can get it done. Looking forward to this coming week .

The tarpon fishing has had a few slow days but has started to pick back up in certain area's of the panhandle . I've been  having to fish late to get the full tide movement  but they still like to bite and that's all that counts .
